Spam Revisited

Now this is just getting plain spooky, tucked at the bottom of a spam about becoming a Certified Minister to perform weddings and such (what? why?) was this little piece…

But suppose, said Rob, that something important should happen while I’m asleep, or not looking at the box? I have called this a Record, replied the Demon, and such it really is, although I have shown you only such events as are in process of being recorded.

By pressing this spring you may open the opposite cover of the box, where all events of importance that have occurred throughout the world during the previous twenty-four hours will appear before you in succession
You may thus study them at your leisure

The various scenes constitute a register of the world’s history, and may be recalled to view as often as you desire. It’s–it’s like knowing everything, murmured Rob, deeply impressed for perhaps the first time in his life

WTF???

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Good selection of viewpoints relating to breadcrumbs in web/interface design here : Users don’t care where they are @ clagnut/blog

I hate them personally, especially when they aren’t true breadcrumbs. What I mean is, that a breadcrumb trail should reveal the path a user has taken to get to the current point within a site. However, all to often one is presented with a set of navigation markers revealing a sites structure and the current position within that, which is plain wrong. I don’t care how the site is structured, I care where I have been. If the primary navigation is correctly presented and well designed there should be no need for the added secondary nav in a site-creator-centric viewpoint. Distracting and confusing.

Decompression

The end is in sight, as is the beginning. One more little freelance gig to go, plus the never ending farce of a still unfinished disney project (want to give me the assets sometime this year guys?) and then all bright and shiny. Sneak peek.

In other news, the facts covered in the Hutton enquiry process but conveniently ignored in the findings are not going away. How inconvenient for Mr blair. Hutton obviously wasn’t a coroner and ignored medical advice pointing to the fact that Kelly was unlikely to have committed suicide. In fact he concluded the exact opposite.

Medical evidence does not support suicide by Kelly

This will be huge, unless it’s being suppressed – which it probably is.

I knew they done him in, it’s classic spy shit.

It's Valentines Day

I’m trying not to become all bitter and cynical but its really hard. So this applies for, erm, a friend of mine. But it’s not a valentine, ok.

I think about you all the fucking time

Not Dead, Just Busy

Lack of updates for a while here… Terribly sorry, I’ve been engaged on FHM.com’s redesign for the past few weeks, and will be for a while longer. In the meantime I’d like to point you towards the well written blog of my new business partner. It’s sometimes about food and sometimes about the other things in his ker-azy life.

The Evil One – Blog about stuff. I need to do him a swanky redesign at some point. Time, just not enough of it and list of projects to do as long as your arm. Still, the gym’s going well ;-)
